Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) 123, 2025
14 (M) Battalion NCC, Imphal
A week long Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC), 2025 organised by 14 (M) Battalion NCC, Imphal, was held from 18 to 24 December, 2025 at PR English school, Kakching. It was participated by around 500 cadets from various schools and colleges within Kakching and Thoubal District, Mamipur. Trainings like army training, responsibility training, Leadership, Dicipline, Personality development etc had been done by Trainers from Imphal. Moreover, from outside Manipur, Directorat of General of shipping (DG Shipping) and group of Maritime gave various training. During the training team of Indian Red Cross Society, Medical team, fire service gave lectures and demonstration. Retired Cononal Keirungba delivered carrier counselling.

The Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) organised by 14 (M) Battalion NCC, Imphal is a flagship annual event aimed at strengthening discipline, leadership, patriotism, and life skills among NCC cadets. The camp brings together cadets from various schools and colleges under the battalion to undergo intensive training in a structured and motivating environment.
Objectives of CATC
To develop discipline, unity, and leadership qualities among cadets
To provide practical military and life-skill training
To promote national integration and social responsibility
To prepare cadets for NCC examinations, camps, and future challenges
Camp Activities
During the training period, cadets actively participate in a wide range of activities, including:
Drill and Parade Training
Map Reading and Field Craft
First Aid & Health Awareness Sessions
Weapon Training (as per NCC syllabus)
Social Service & Community Outreach
Lectures on Leadership, Motivation, and Career Guidance
Physical Training, Yoga, and Sports Events
Cultural Programmes and National Integration Activities
Discipline & Daily Routine
The camp follows a well-structured daily schedule, ensuring punctuality, teamwork, and responsibility. Cadets learn time management, cooperation, and respect for authority while living and training together.

Overview
The Last Eco Club Activity for the 2025 academic session at P. R. English School was organised with enthusiasm, responsibility, and a spirit of service. The programme marked the successful completion of the Eco Club activities for the year, combining environmental awareness with social service, thereby reinforcing the values of care for nature and society.
Aim of the Activity
The key objectives of this final Eco Club activity were to:
Promote environmental protection and sustainable living
Encourage students to participate in social service and community welfare
Strengthen awareness of Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment)
Develop values of responsibility, empathy, and teamwork
Activities Conducted
Students actively participated in a variety of eco-friendly and social service activities, including:

Clean and green school campus drive
Waste segregation and recycling awareness
Water conservation awareness programme
Environmental protection pledge
🤝 Social Service Activities
cleanliness drive at surrounding areas of Kakching Police Station and Kakching D.C. Office.
Awareness interaction with support staff and peers on hygiene and cleanliness
Promoting discipline, cooperation, and respect through service activities
These activities helped students understand that protecting the environment and serving society go hand in hand.

Date: 10/08/2025 - Tree Plantation cum Social Service program In connection with Patriot's Day Observance
Honoring Heroes, Nurturing Nature
On 10th August 2025, a collaborative initiative brought together environmental conservation and tribute to the martyrs of Khongjom through a Tree Plantation Cum Social Service Program. Organized by Padma Ratna English Schook, Kakching alongside local stakeholders, the event revitalized two significant sites – the historic Khongjom War Memorial Complex and the ecologically rich Santhei Natural Park, Andro– fostering both heritage preservation and ecological awareness.
Event Highlights
🌿 Green Legacy: Over 150 participants, including students, teachers, and civic volunteers, planted native saplings at both locations, enhancing biodiversity and contributing to a sustainable future.
🧹 Sanctity Restored: Volunteers conducted a cleanliness drive, clearing waste, trimming overgrown vegetation, and maintaining water bodies at the War Memorial, while also restoring trails and picnic spots at Santhei Natural Park.
🕊️ Tribute to Martyrs: The program honored the bravery of Khongjom’s warriors, linking environmental care with remembrance. The serene surroundings of Santhei Natural Park further symbolized peace and renewal.
Why This Matters
Environmental Impact: The newly planted trees will grow into a living tribute at the War Memorial while enhancing the lush ecosystem of Santhei Natural Park.
Heritage & Nature Preservation: Maintaining these sites ensures they remain dignified, accessible, and educational for future generations.
